Payment Policy – Dragon Study Tours

Effective Date: 1st October 2025

Deposit
A 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking. This deposit secures your group’s programme dates at The Palm residence.
The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
However, it may be transferred once to a new programme date within 12 months, provided the request is made at least 30 days before the original arrival date.
In exceptional cases, a second transfer may be considered, but no further changes are allowed.

Balance
The balance of the programme fee must be paid in full no later than 28 days before arrival.
If payment is not received by this deadline, the booking will be cancelled and all fees already paid will be lost.

Cancellations and Refunds
The 25% deposit is always non-refundable.
Cancellation made between 28 and 14 days before arrival: 50% of the programme fee will be refunded (minus deposit).
Cancellation made 14 days or less before arrival: no refund will be given.
All refunds are processed by bank transfer only and will be completed within 30 days of written confirmation of cancellation.

Visa Refusal
If a visa is refused, the school or agent must provide official written proof at least 10 days before arrival to be considered for a refund.
If the refusal is due to errors by the client, no refund will be issued.

Payment Methods
All payments must be made by bank transfer in Thai Baht (THB).
Credit cards and digital payment platforms are not accepted.
Any bank charges or currency exchange losses must be covered by the payer.
Payments are only considered complete once the funds have cleared into the Dragon Study Tours account and proof of payment has been sent to info@dragonstudy.org.
An official receipt will be issued within 7 working days of cleared funds.

Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of 20,000 THB per group is required upon arrival, payable in cash.
This covers damages, losses, or policy violations.
Room checks: Rooms will be inspected by Dragon Study Tours staff and the group leader upon arrival and again before departure. Any damages, losses, or violations recorded during these inspections will be deducted from the deposit.
If damages exceed 20,000 THB, the group leader must pay the additional amount immediately.
The deposit will be refunded in cash at the end of the programme if no deductions are required.

Late or Incomplete Payments
If payments are late or incomplete, Dragon Study Tours reserves the right to cancel the booking without refund.
